World in Conflict - 5vs5 Domination Ladder


WiC (1) General Conduct

No 3rd party software is permitted to be used that would give you an unfair advantage
(Excludes voice comms)
No Ghosting
No kicking opposing players from the server once the match is started.
The team that commits this offence will automatically forfeit the match.

Starting the game with the wrong settings may result in the match becoming void.
Please check server settings before starting a match.

Any application which can be used to aid a player to gain a unfair advantage
over their opponent is illegal is cheating.


WiC (2) Dual-Clanning
You are NOT allowed to be in more than one clan playing World in Conflict at devotii.

Single elimination


WiC (4) The Game
Game Type: Domination
Time limit: 20 Minutes per map. Percentage Win

Best of Two Maps.

Percentages are rounded up to the nearest whole number, example: 67.5% = 68%, 67.3% = 67%

Maps will be selected by the admins for the stages from the following list: do_Farmland,
 
do_Riviera, do_Hometown, do_Powerplant, do_Virginia, do_Silo

Note: Each team must have a min. of 4 players to play a match.


Class Limits:

There are specific Squad role rules, 4 Players of a team must choose one of: Armour, Air,
Support or Infantry - One for each role. The 5th player is allowed to choose any of
these roles and is permitted to switch roles during a match.

Note: The 4 Players who choose a specific role, prior to the match start can't change
their role once the match has started. They may change there role previous
to the second stage starting.


WiC (5) Server Settings

Servers are not allowed to run any plugins, 3rd party or otherwise, during any devotii Match.
Max Players should be set to 10
Resources must be set to 4000>2000
A Password must be placed on the server

Server Settings add/modify these on your world in conflict server config

[GameName] Name of server Name of the server
[ModName] no Turns any mods off
[NonLinearDominationDisabled] 1 Normal Domination mode ON
[MinPlayers] 4 Minimum number of players for game start
[MaxPlayers] 10 Maximum number of players
[StayOnTeam] Off Players will need to choose teams
[MatchMode] 1 Players need to be "ready".
[AutoBalanceTeams] 0 Turns Auto team balance off
[AllowSpectating] 0 Disallows Spectators
[AllowFreeSpectating] 0 Disallows Free Spectators
[BotMode] 0


WiC (6) Scoring

Scores should be entered into the event intranet after completion of the round.
Clan leaders are responsible for recording of match replays and screenshots of the final score board.
Please remember to round up scores to the nearest whole number.


WiC (7) No Shows / Cancellations

Clans are expected to be on the server and ready to play with the minimum number of players at
the scheduled or agreed upon time.

Any clan that fails to be present with the minimum amount of players and ready to play on a
server 15 minutes after the match start time may forfeit the match. The other clan may be awarded a default win.


WiC (8) Spectators

The devotii rules state that you cannot have spectators on the server during a match.

devotii Admins reserve the right to spectate any official, friendly or event match.


WiC (9) Demos & Screenshots

Clan leaders are responsible for recording of match replays and screenshots of the final score board.


WiC (10) Clients Dropping

If a client drops, you are allowed to restart the match if the player dropped in the first 1:30 minutes
of game play, but you must play with the same roles in the first 1:30 minutes after the restart.
Also, if both teams agree, you can also restart the half.


(11) Server Agreement

If teams cannot agree on a match server to use, they must use a Massgate server (Massgate Challenge)

If at the time of the match massgate is causing lag to both teams, please bring this to the attention of
a admin via IRC: #devotii.admins @ Quakenet.
The admin will decide wether to postpone the match. If a admin isnt avalible, the match must be played as planned.
