True to our word, today devotii released a whole host of new features for your gaming delectation. So what's changed? Well it's good news for clan-fans as we now support not only robust clan management tools (create your own clan, recruit members and sort them into squads) but we marry this with a new addition to our Games Arena - namely scrims.
So now you can not only set up your clan on devotii, you can also play against other teams in Counter-Strike: Source, Call of Duty 2: Search & Destroy, and the classic Battlefield 2!
So that's Clans & Scrims. We heartily recommend you fully explore both right now.
But that's not all.
The Envoy has been upgraded with new functionality. You can now nudge the Envoy just by double-clicking the icon in your system tray. Useful if you want your click-here-to-join pop-up and you've been waiting awhile. (He's a busy chap that Envoy, but always happy to help if you give him a nudge).
Other changes to the Envoy are faster launching times for Half-Life 2: Deathmatch; plus Counter-Strike: Source and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch anti-cheat now works with Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit)!
Additionally, the Envoy can now launch the Steam version of Call of Duty 2 without issue too. If you use Call of Duty 2 through Steam, please take a look at our tech tips forum for special instructions that will improve your gaming experience.
So all in all, that's some great new functionality and cool new features for you too enjoy!
And to kick it all off we have a fantastic new tournament for you - the Cyber Snipa Counter-Strike: Source Showdown. So set up your clan, and sign up to Showdown over in our Tournaments section now.
As always, our forums are there for you to tell us what you think, what you like, and what we can improve upon to suit your gaming needs - we'd love to hear from you.
pilch out.
