CLUK19 is taking place from 29th February to 2nd March at Uttoxeter Racecourse in Staffordshire. Don’t forget that early payment discount is only available until 1st February at which point the price increases to £45, seeing as the 1st is pay-day for a lot of you, we’ll change the price at 6pm on the 1st to give you chance to pay before then!

Big Game Programme

For those of you who just like to enjoy some fun, fast-paced fragging during a LAN then our big game programme gives you just that. At various points through the LAN we set up a dedicated server for popular games such as TF2, COD4, Trackmania and try to pack the servers full! The programme for the big games will be announced shortly, but in the mean time go to the forum thread to discuss the plan!

£500 5v5 Counter-Strike: Source Tournament It’s time to polish your Deagles and prime the AWPs ready for CLUK’s first cash-prize winning Counter-Strike: Source tournament. Our new admin team is ready and waiting to bring the more competitive gamers the tournament that they’ve been asking for! A full rule set will be made available later this week along with tournament signups on the CentralanUK website, but for now tell us what you think here.
£500 5v5 Call of Duty 4 (Search & Destroy) Tournament Over the past few months this first person shooter has taken the online gaming world by storm! Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare brings the classic shooter into the present day with a fantastic array of weaponry. Infinity ward have included the classic game types as well as some new challenges and seem to have listened well to the community. We’ve picked a 5v5 Search and Destroy tournament to introduce COD4 to the CLUK gaming community. Again, expect some details later this week and chat about it on the forums.
£500 World in Conflict Tournament Last year Vivendi Games brought an alpha version of a groundbreaking new strategy game to try out with the CLUK gaming community; with its set round times and no tech-tree anyone can pick up this game and give a go, but to master the game you need quick reflexes and well practised micro-management skills (oh, and the nuke looks really cool!). We will be confirming the team sizes and rules for World in Conflict shortly and you can have your say right here.
