No Blu-ray for the 360

Well looking at the BBC technology page today it appears that Microsoft will not be adding Blu-ray support to the 360, instead Microsoft have opted to support a direct download service instead.

They were always going to support digital downloads, there was no question about it.
Why should they compensate people who bought a HDDVD drive?
Bah!
Doesnt bother me really, just means ill have to buy a PS3 :)
No surprise there then, they should compensate gamers who have bought their own HD DVD
