Event Structure
Teams will sign up to a 32 team single elimination cup.
Each round must be played within a week of the Scheduled date. Clans must organise a date and time within this week with their opponents. If two opponents fail to decide on a date and time, this will then be set by a Devotii admin.
All participants will be UK residents
Finals will be held offline and filmed at the UK LAN CLUK21 event.
Clans and Squads
The event will be a 4v4 team based game.
Clans may enter multiple squads into this event you may also have reserves listed in each squad for the online section of the event.
Each player must have entered a valid Xbox live id in their 'player profile' in order to play.
Hosting the game
Games must be hosted by the player with the best all round connection please test this before the game is due to start by contacting your opponents via the website.
Please play a small warm up when the teams are all connected to make sure there are no connection problems prior to starting the game.
The first clan in the fixture are the hosts, and the second clan pick what team to play on first. Example, Clan A v Clan B, Clan A would be the host, Clan B would choose what team to play on first.
Lag Test:
A "Lag Test" must be completed prior to starting the match.
This is a test round that doesn't count to any of the final scores and uses the standard game settings that will be used during the match. If the host lags during this test, both teams should attempt to resolve the issue with the other player hosting. If an acceptable host can’t be found by either team, then both players are asked to reschedule to another day in the week to play the match.
Turning your PC off can help reduce Lag when hosting.

Scoring:
Each round is worth ONE point
The winnder of each round gains 1 Point. If a round is a draw, both sides gain 0 points.
Each match will be played to the first to 5 - First team to earn 5 points wins
This is an elimination tournament, lose the match and your team is out!
General:
Using any kind of cheat is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN
Abusing bugs (including map, game and engine bugs) is classed as cheating and will result in a default loss.
Teams are expected to be on the server and ready to play with the minimum number of players at the scheduled or agreed upon time. Any Team that fails to be present with the minimum amount of players and ready to play on a server 15 minutes after the match start time may forfeit the match. The other Team will be awarded a default win.
Players Dropping:
In the event of player/s dropping the host will restart the match with exception to the following:
• Once the first kill has been recorded the game will continue (with exception to an early mass server drop i.e. ALL players not just one team)
• Prior to the first kill but in the event the same player/s drop from the server repeatedly (i.e. have already dropped twice in the same or previous games) the game will continue in their absence.
• Once the first minute of play has passed
Schedule
Each round must be played within a week of the Scheduled date. Clans must organise a date and time within this week with their opponents. If two opponents fail to decide on a date and time, this will then be set by a Devotii admin.
It is the clan’s responsiblity to check the schedule and contact each other. Playing a delayed time is acceptable as long as the game is played on that evening. Please try to enter the scores and results as quick as possible to ensure the smooth running of the event.
If a team does not show up for the allotted match time and has made no effort to contact the opposing side 15 mins after the scheduled match time the game is entered as a default win to the waiting team. A default score will also be entered if the any team does not have a full squad in the game by the 15 min time buffer.
If any player loses connection the game must continue. Games should be played in the best spirits and sportsmanship.
At least one member of each team must take a digital photo of the end of round scores, in case of dispute. (And for forum bragging).
We take Gamesmanship very seriously at devotii. Verbal abuse will not be tolerated. Please do not use excessive foul language. Please remember what your team finds acceptable others may not. Please treat other teams with a friendly attitude; good teams let the game do the talking.
Any reports of unsporting behaviour will be taken very seriously and may result in exclusion from the event.
Please remember that the finals will be held at CLUK21 in the UK if your team cannot make the final your team will be replaced by the admin team at devotii.
Rescheduling:
Rescheduling is allowed but matches MUST be played BEFORE the following Tuesday, eg Monday night (no exceptions) and teams must contact each other and an admin to have a reschedule requested. It is up to the teams involved to come to an agreement and post in the match comments or contact an admin with the reschedule information.
If the match is not played before the following Tuesday an admin will make a decision on the result. All admin decisions are final.
